Before School Program (Kindergarden - 6th Grade)
 

Stepping Stones Learning Center wants to help parents who need morning care.  Our program opens at 7:00am. The bus will generally pick the kids up around 8:00am. 

 

We provide supervision and light activities for the kids as they will only be there for an hour.  Should you not have time to feed the kids, feel free to bring their breakfast with them, we will make sure they eat prior to getting on the bus. (If they arrive prior to 7:30am)

 

We walk children out to the front of the Center and wait until all the children are on their way.
After School Program (Kindergarden - 6th Grade)
 

Stepping Stones is aware that not everyone’s work schedule revolves around the school schedule.  Stepping Stones has an afterschool program that brings comfort and security to parents.  We provide care from bus drop off until 6:00pm.

 

        We meet the kids as they get off the bus in front of the center and are escorted into the Center.  The kids have a quick snack (provided by Stepping Stones).  After snack, we allow about 30 minutes of activity.  Activity will depend on weather but would consist of outside play, organized games, Wii Fit, etc.  After activity, each child is provided with their own table and chair so they can work on their homework.  We help the kids whether it be study for spelling test or working on projects.  Should a child not have homework, we do ask them to read quietly during homework time.
